Two Detroit techno classics from Mike Huckaby. Huckaby's remix of Precession's (bka Steve O'Sullivan) "Sandcastle" was originally released on the 1996 Ferox Records' compilation, Adventures Of Techno Soul, and has been a sought after piece of minimal techno ever since. The b side is given over to Huckaby alias Roland King and to many is the killer here. "Flashbacks From The M1 (The Ferox Treatment)" begins with a punishing kick before setting off in a heavy dub techno direction. High quality material from one of Detroit's greats.
